Japanese Garden
Digging into our first major project to create a pocket of calm out front—fingers crossed we get the authentic Japanese traditions right!
Reforestation
Trying to restore the property's forest and creek with native trees
Creek Trail
Hacking through creek brambles and stumbling into local history: lots of thorns, unexpected relics, and a total surprise.
Wildlife
Sightings and live camera captures of animals on the property — deer, birds, and whatever wanders through.
Northern Slope
Ripping out brambles to plant a Japanese garden backdrop (and really hoping for some Zen there)
Greenhouse
Our next big undertaking, complete with heavy lifting and a desperate attempt to outsmart the winter.
Woodworking
Zero actual sawdust (yet), lots of big plans, and hoping we actually pull it off
